Keep Tires Properly Inflated You can improve gas mileage by up to 3.3 percent by keeping your tires inflated to the proper pressure. Under-inflated tires can lower gas mileage by 0.3 percent for every l psi drop in pressure of all four tires. Properly inflated tires are safer and last longer. We ended up registering 76 donors and, with 11 deferrals and 2 double red cell donations collected 66 units of whole blood, which was well within our goal range. Those units are already on their way to be able to help over 180 patients in our local hospitals.
